Three places today.
A home, where a friend is housesitting. The home is austinlafabulous. A pool in the backyard, small and dark stone. The children swimming. A good and solid conversation with our friend, who is rarely in town. Thunder, splashes, music.
A farm with beautiful horses, wonderful people, funny children, the sweet smell of hay. A baby horse, trotting up to the children. Music, singing, cicadas.
The new hammock, leaves above, dappled, rocking, quiet.
